Demand for e-learning platforms for SMEs and schools exploded during the COVID-19 pandemic. According to Research and Markets forecasts, the global e-learning market will be worth $ 325 billion in 2025. The investment in e-learning resulted in an increase in revenues in 42% of companies.

Our client was preparing to expand to Europe and Latin America markets. However, the market situation made him significantly accelerate his plans. First, he decided to rebuild and redesign the online system he was using because it was built in Adobe Flash technology. The change required the design of many new functionalities to meet the users' needs. An important issue was also the need to increase the speed of this platform's operation significantly. The mDevelopers team was asked to create a scalable, user-friendly, secure solution for schools. We were given 9 months for this task.

In addition, the client planned to create a second branch of its activity by building a solution for companies that will offer language courses to their employees. Again, The Point asked mDevelopers for help. We had another 3 months to create such a platform.

The mDEVELOPERS team recommended building a modular solution based on .NET Core 2 due to its lightness and performance on Linux platforms. It is also one of the best technologies for connecting different microservices. Both platforms for schools and corporations required:

From the users' point of view, the most valuable modules included more than 16 types of exercises, an analytical part with statistics and reports, and consultation management. Our work results in two platforms that more than met the expectations of the client and users. Over 95% of the control (test) students were satisfied with the new, clean interface and enhanced functionalities. "We were pleased with the results that the mDEVELOPERS team provided us.
