Clear Choice provides all the curriculum, technology, and consulting that tutoring companies need to improve results, increase referrals, and generate more revenue.
The purpose of our cooperation was to design and implement a new graphic design, introduce new functionalities, maintain the highest quality code and support. The system stack required a very experienced team in technologies such as React.js, PHP Symfony and Laravel with CQRS and Event Sourcing.
In just 2 weeks, we had to familiarize ourselves with the code, conduct its detailed analysis, and introduce critical functionalities. Then we prepared a map of further software development. In the weeks that followed, we corrected bugs and worked to make the entire system more reliable. We worked in the areas of UX and UI, and we prepared sketches and projects. We have also built a prototype that is currently under construction. We have finished work on the student view, and now, we are working on the tutor's view.
The project required us to build a team "under one roof," which additionally was able to start work very quickly and take over the project. The project team consisted of a Project Manager, PHP Laravel / Symphony developers, and React.js developers, as well as a Quality Assurance Tester. We worked in the Agile methodology, updating the current scope of work every day, doing planning sessions and retrospectives. The entire project was managed using Jira and Confluence. During the project, we used the following technologies: PHP Laravel, React.js, and AWS.
The created platform fully met the expectations of Clear Choice. Thanks to the introduced changes, it was possible to stop losing Clear Choice customers and acquire new ones. New functionalities and a huge improvement in application speed (by 120%) increased customer satisfaction by 78.5%. We are currently working on further reducing the cost of maintaining the application (ultimately by 45%).
